What Do You Have To Say? - Music: My First Favorite Band

What was the first band you became a fan of?

I became a fan of New Kids on the Block. I was twelve, and was convinced I'd marry Joey McIntirey. At least he aged better than Jordan Knight.

To quantify, I'm now a huge Beatles fan...tastes change.

Tea latte and scones...

To continue my bad eating from yesterday, (which stops with lunch), I had a blueberry scone and a tea latte for breakfast....

God, I love Coffee Bean.

It was a restless night, and I didn't want to get up this morning. It has to be allergies, I wake up looking like a raccon every morning with big old bags under my eyes. But I'm at work, freshly showered, looking vaguely bobby-socks-ish today. All I need is a scarf in the ponytail. OK, so maybe the ankle tat isn't so Pat Boone wholesome.

Well to put yesterday behind me, I am positive today about some new hiring. It's nice to feel I accomplished something. I'm hoping to have one offer letter out today, another in the next couple, but that depends on some discussions between my boss and the hiring team. So that will be good. And a third problem child might just have a home, I'm excited. I didn't know what to do with her, but someone hit an idea, and it is brilliant. So yay.

I finally heard this morning about the Bill Belechek/Patriots 'cheating' scandal, and I snorted. What the hell, everyone has lost their mind. It's funny, in my mind, having cut my teeth on the brutal Friday Night Lights of high school football, (and if you don't think they don't take that shit seriously, go to Texas sometime, or anywhere in the Midwest), reading off the opposing teams signals was an art form. I knew one guy at an opposing school who had a whole system worked out, and damn, it was impressive...

Course that didn't mean they always won games, this team just didn't suck as bad as they might have had he not devised the system. As far as I know no one said anything about it, but then I don't think anyone cared that badly. Maybe if they had been a powerhouse they would have.

Truth be told, it's not that unusual to have it happen, hell why do you think coaches spend most of their time with their plays in front of their face. Football is down and dirty, and they've been doing this shit for years. Bill Belechek is only guilty of getting caught, which is rather surprising and funny. And you can't tell me Mangini doesn't either. OK, fine him, suspend him, get over with, and shut up about it, I don't care. If he broke the rules, he broke them, case done, give him the punishment, and move on. But please, PLEASE don't bitch anymore about it, don't make it a big deal, and don't wave it around like HGH, cause I'm sick of that too. Feh....

I still think it's him that got caught, when so many others do it....that's just really funny.
