87 Toyota Tercel...

I have a car. It's still in Montecito Heights, but I have a car. This is a strange and new phenomena for me, what does this mean, this 'car'. Hmmmmm.

Does this mean I can now go places without the reliance on heavy public transit? Yes. Does this mean that I can just take off to go to the library or the beach whenever I want? Yes. Does this mean I don't have to feel my overwhelming guilt at having people drive my sorry ass around to places I need to get to? Yes. Ahhhh...how nice.

Well, I still have to get the license. But at least I have the car.

This is a good thing, as I start my schedule from hell in about a month, and for six weeks I'm juggling school and work like never before. No one said I wasn't a masochist, but at least a car means I don't have to get up till 6:15 in the morning now. Hoorah.

I suppose then for me the ultimate freedom that a car represents...is more sleep time in my nummy bed. The one thing I seem to lack now at days. :)
